Interesting books although probably all too serious:
A General Theory of Love by Lewis, Amini, Lannon (3 MDs) about the limbic brain
King, Warrior, Magician, Lover by Moore and Gillette (about archetypes)
Che: A life for a better world (I read it in Spanish so don’t know if it is in English…was very interesting)
The Israel Lobby by Mearsheimer and Walt
The speed of trust: the one thing that changes everything by Stephen M.R. Covey
I liked Empress Orchid – and it’s follow-up, The Last Empress, is now out. Min continues to grow as a writer, in my opinion. I have read all of her books (except The Last Empress) and my favorites are Becoming Madame Mao Red Azalea and Empress Orchid – in that order.
“Jim and Casper Go to Church” by Jim Henderson
“No Perfect People Allowed” by John Burke
“Reveal” ( a study on christian’s growth)
The Final Reckoning by Sam Bourne
UnChristian – David Kinnaman and Gabe Lyons
Creating a World without Poverty – Muhammad Yunus
Muhammad – Karen Armstrong
The Last Empress – Anchee Min
